CHAIR

     Xiang Fang, Chief Scientist at the National Institute of Metrology of China, former General Director of the institute, and PhD Supervisor at Tongji University and Hunan University. He serves as the Head of the Overall Expert Group for the National Key Science and Technology Project on Quality Infrastructure during the 13th and 14th Five Year Plan periods. Former Vice Director of the Standardization Administration of China, and currently serves as the Chair of the Chinese Mass Spectrometry Society.
      With long term dedication to research in precision instruments, metrology testing technologies, and standardization, he is a key academic leader in the field of mass spectrometry technology and instrumentation in China. He serves as the Chair of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TC 158). As the primary contributor, he has twice received the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class). He is also a recipient of the National Innovation Excellence Award and the Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award. In 2025, he was honored with the China Patent Gold Award.

    Yuanjiang Pan, Qiushi Distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Zhejiang University, serves as the Director of the Physical and Chemical Testing Platform. He holds concurrent positions including Council Member of the Chinese Chemical Society, Chair of the Organic Analysis Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, and Vice Chair of the Chinese Mass Spectrometry Society. 

 Mowei Zhou

      Mowei Zhou is a Qiushi Scholar for Experiments and the Executive Deputy Director of the Chemistry Instrument Center at Zhejiang University. He obtained his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, and completed postdoctoral training at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Prior to joining Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2023, he held a position as staff scientist at PNNL. His research focuses on the development of native top-down mass spectrometry (MS) methods and instrumentation to investigate heterogeneous interactions in natural and artificial enzymes. He chaired the inaugural Early Career Researcher (ECR) Committee of the Consortium for Top-Down Proteomics (CTDP) from 2023-2024, and is currently a council member of CNHUPO for organizing online educational webinars.

 Hongru Feng

      Hongru Feng is an associate research professor at the Department of Chemistry, Zhejiang University. His research is long engaged in mass spectrometry (MS)-based analysis of emerging contaminants, with a focus on establishing innovative analytical techniques and methodologies. He has accumulated rich academic experience in the development of novel mass spectrometry detection technologies and methods, and accomplished a series of landmark achievements, including the simultaneous detection of polar compounds, nonpolar compounds and metal species, as well as rapid qualitative and quantitative mass spectrometric analysis of particulate matters such as haze particles and microplastics. Up to now, he has published more than 50 papers indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI). He currently serves as the principal investigator of projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and has participated in major NSFC research instrument development projects and key research programs.
