CHAIR
Xiang Fang, Chief Scientist at the National Institute of Metrology of China, former General Director of the institute, and PhD Supervisor at Tongji University and Hunan University. He serves as the Head of the Overall Expert Group for the National Key Science and Technology Project on Quality Infrastructure during the 13th and 14th Five-Year Plan periods. Former Vice Director of the Standardization Administration of China, and currently serves as the Chair of the Chinese Mass Spectrometry Society.
With long-term dedication to research in precision instruments, metrology testing technologies, and standardization, he is a key academic leader in the field of mass spectrometry technology and instrumentation in China. He serves as the Chair of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TC 158). As the primary contributor, he has twice received the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class). He is also a recipient of the National Innovation Excellence Award and the Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award. In 2025, he was honored with the China Patent Gold Award.
Yuanjiang Pan, Qiushi Distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Zhejiang University, serves as the Director of the Physical and Chemical Testing Platform. He holds concurrent positions including Council Member of the Chinese Chemical Society, Chair of the Organic Analysis Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, and Vice Chair of the Chinese Mass Spectrometry Society.
